Welcome to our latest e-newsletter, giving a quick summary of what's happening within Petersfield u3a. To find out more, simply click onto the blue links to be taken straight to our website.

The U3A calendar for the next couple of months is nothing if not varied!

All members are warmly invited to Petersfield Community Centre on Monday 11 November at 2.30pm for the Annual General Meeting. This will be followed by a talk on The History of Portsmouth.

Later in the month there is an opportunity to go back to school! A hands-on science session will be held at Churcher's College on Thursday 21 November at 4.30pm.

And on the social front, there will be a coffee morning for new and 'old' members on Wednesday 27 November 10am-12.30pm and a Christmas Celebration on Monday 9 December 2-4pm.

The following open meetings (featuring guest speakers) will be held at Petersfield Community Centre.

Christmas Is Coming ...

• Welcome drinks, entertainment and a Christmas tea will all be on offer at this year's Christmas Celebration.
  Tickets (costing £5) will be on sale at all open meetings during November. Members can also reserve by emailing vicechair.u3apts@gmail.com, though ordered tickets will be charged unless cancelled in good time.
  Numbers are restricted, so please book early to avoid disappointment!
• Are you - or someone you know - likely to be spending Christmas Day alone this year?
  PACT (Petersfield Area Churches Together) is going to be providing a three-course Christmas meal at Petersfield Community Centre. Anyone in and around Petersfield who would otherwise be on their own on 25 December is welcome.
