We are delighted to welcome back our member Gerald Pilkington for today’s talk. A few years ago, Gerald gave us a most interesting and informative talk and demonstration on what to do in a cardiac emergency. Time for a refresher!

The Meon Valley Heartstart scheme provides sessions to teach emergency life-saving first aid skills to schools and groups across Hampshire. During 2025 MVHS taught over 6,500 people.

This abridged session will focus on action at a medical emergency, management of an unresponsive casualty and management of a non-breathing casualty including use of an AED. The session will include use of short video training films and demonstrations with time for questions.
