We are a new group comprising U3A Petersfield Members of diverse backgrounds engaging in discussions on international affairs in an off-the-record, respectful, constructive, educational and non-partisan manner.

Our events are to be organized based on the interests of our members, so join us and let us know the topics of international relevance that you are interested in discussing.

• International affairs broadly encompasses global political, economic and geographical topics.

Each session will follow a pre-announced agenda of topics commencing with ‘breaking news’ and then followed by a list of topics proposed in advance by the group’s members.

Different topics will occupy more or less of the time available within the monthly sessions and it will fall to the coordinator to manage the available time to dedicate to specific topics. Some topics of an ongoing nature will require re-visiting at future meetings due to their relevance/complexity.
