We have one fluent member, and we are a very small group. We read a chapter or two of a Greek novel in the class (our favourite being Yiannis Marís, a 1950s author) and then translate some pages for 'homework' to work through the following week. Victoria Hislop's books have also been a favourite to translate..

New members with some fluency are most welcome. If you are already fluent in Modern Greek or have Greek as a first language, we would welcome your help and advice as a member or as an occasional visitor.

The Group enjoyed a Greek-themed evening at "The Nest" in Buriton during their "Travel The World" events, which they currently hold each month.
Each table also participated in a Greek quiz.
