We have one fluent member and we are a very small group. We read a chapter or two of a Greek novel in the class (our favourite being Yiannis Maris, a 1950's author) and then translate some pages for 'homework' to work through the following week. Victoria Hislop's books have also been a favourite to translate..

New members, who have some fluency, are most welcome. If you are already fluent in Modern Greek or have Greek as a first language, we would welcome your help and advice as a member or as an occasional visitor.
