The group currently has 16 members, although we generally restrict attendance at members' houses to 12 to ensure that they can be accommodated in a private house.

We tour our members’ gardens, have a monthly subject to talk about such as Winter Plants or Soils, talk about plant problems exchange plant information and swap plants. We have demonstrations, such as pruning, taking cuttings and cultivating plants.

Several times a year we make visits to public gardens and also to NGS and other private gardens by arrangement. For example, we recently visited West Dean Gardens to see the snowdrops and crocuses and had tea in the tearooms. Our visits are made by shared private car. In recent years, we have held an annual garden party in September
