I would like to thank the previous editors of Connect, Les and Hilary Jarman and Chris Bird for the many years of producing the eMagazine. Each Saturday morning without fail, it would arrive with up to-the-minute u3a news and a reminder of the forthcoming events and links to other websites and articles when relevant to the subject.  A special thanks too for helping to keep us all connected throughout lockdown by inviting members to contribute to the publication. This for example was done by asking readers to name their most disliked piece of music or revealing the lessons they learnt during the pandemic. The new team will have a hard act to follow, but thank you for taking on the challenge.
