The Management Committee (MC) is pleased to announce the co-option of the following members at our meeting on 17th September. They will in due course stand for election at the AGM in November.
Rose Noonan who will stand for secretary at the next AGM and is currently shadowing Robina Whitehorn who is due to stand down at that time. Rose is working with Doreen Challen and Susie Reynolds who will cover minute taking and other admin and governance aspects of this demanding role
Bernice O’Reilly who will be developing the representation of Groups on the MC and working with Louise Fox, who will be stepping down from her current role at the 2025 AGM, to ensure her responsibilities are seamlessly handed over.
Pauline Kneen who will be taking on a new role as volunteer champion, promoting the role of volunteering in our mutual aid organisation, developing a register of members’ volunteering availability, and helping to find candidates for particular roles.
On behalf of all members, we welcome them aboard and look forward to working with and supporting them in their roles.
