Recently , I attended three U3a meetings, all of which were interesting, informative and entertaining. 
I wanted to thank the speaker-secretaries    for such imaginative choices but with no direct way of finding them, I had to ask around. Someone said that in all the years she had been doing the job, no-one had ever offered their thanks before.
If I buy a widget at 6p over the internet, I am asked for feedback by return.
Can we create a way that we can offer our positive feedback (no trolling please) so that the job is recognised and appreciated. Let’s face it, it possibly wouldn’t be your first choice as a u3a volunteer and it’s  certainly not mine.
It might be something as small as the touch of a key…..
