House of Commons Visit

Event type: Outing
Date: 8th June 2026
Time: 08:15 - 17:00
Group: Current Affairs 3
Cost: £25.00

The coach will leave from the Festival Hall Car Park in Petersfield at 08.15 am on Monday, 8th June, and we expect to be back in Petersfield at around 17.00 pm. We have two guided tours booked for 11.00 am and 11.10 am; if you get a place, we’ll let you know which time slot you’re on. As numbers are strictly limited, we’ll need to manage places carefully, so additional places beyond the Current Affairs Group members will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tours last around 1 hour and 15 minutes. You’ll be on your feet for the duration, and as the House of Commons is a historic building, there are some steps and narrow walkways, so please bear this in mind when booking.  After the tour, there will be a Q&A with Damian Hinds MP in one of the Committee Rooms.

The cost for the day is £25. If the trip is popular, we’ll run a waiting list and do our best to offer any freed-up places to anyone who can’t attend for unforeseen reasons. Please note that we’re not able to offer refunds.

If you’re allocated a place, we’ll email you to confirm and will include payment details, along with any further information you’ll need for the trip.

If you need any further information, please contact Marjorie Day on 01730 263381 or 07768 121993 or email on mkd@knightley.com
