Fiona is a volunteer at Jane Austen’s house at Chawton and will shortly become a Director with Historic Houses, so a love of history is a large part of her life. Jane Austen was born in 1775, one of eight children, and began writing at an early age. She died prematurely aged 41 in 1817 and is buried in Winchester Cathedral.
