There is no joining fee, and annual membership is only £15.00. The membership year runs from 1st September to 31st August, and membership renewal is payable by the end of September each year. However, if you join after 30th April, your £15.00 membership fee will let you enjoy membership until the end of August of the following year.

Associate membership is available, at a slightly reduced rate of £10.00, to anyone who is a complete and current member of another u3a and who wishes to attend one or more Petersfield u3a interest groups regularly.

What Activities

All communications, including the Connect newsletter, which is sent on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, are sent out electronically.

All u3a groups are run by volunteer members and the success of each group depends on this support to continue to thrive and develop. By the time we reach retirement age we will all have a wealth of experience in the workplace and have acquired a variety of skills and considerable knowledge. In joining the u3a you are able continue to develop your skills and extend your knowledge in many areas, thanks to the variety of groups’ activities on offer. At the same time these same skills and knowledge base can be used for the benefit of the success of the group as a whole. We encourage new members to get involved in this way, it is one of the best ways of meeting new people and getting to know all the opportunities available.
